E-Lit is a peer-reviewed academic journal published on-line. It is edited by a group of scholars from Poland and abroad, and co-sponsored by the Institute of English, German and Communication Studies, Koszalin University of Technology.
Our aim is to create a forum for a scholarly debate which would address problems linked with British literature and culture as it is broadly understood today. We are open, and indeed look forward, to studies which compare and/or contrast British literature and aspects of culture with those of other countries.
We invite responses from scholars committed to academic quality who wish to undertake a discourse, articulate critical views, or challenge existing outlooks within the fields of literature and culture.
Each issue will be devoted to a specific topic, so that contributions can share their ideas on the same subject, representing (as we hope) different perspectives and takes. As the title suggests, the latest media and forms of artistic expression are particularly in focus; naturally, the interrelations between traditionally represented literature and culture and the new media constitute yet another area of our interest. Therefore, we would like to invite scholars from a variety of fields who intend to impart their ideas on British literature and culture to submit their contributions to our journal.
